Our standard beginner/intermediate rafting experience offers a 4-hour tour of the White Salmon River with options to experience the Husum Falls or a bridge jump. The guides will provide a thorough river orientation, so you’ll know what to expect out on the river.
Prepare for Your Adventure
Make sure you are prepared for your white water rafting adventure with Portland Rafting Company. Bring sunscreen for much needed protection for your face while you are out in the sun raging against the waters. It is also best to wear a swimsuit or synthetic shorts and a shirt to wear under the provided wet suit. Also, bring along a synthetic long sleeve shirt or fleece top for cooler temperatures. If you wear glasses, make sure they are strapped. Some other incidentals you may want to consider are a towel, wet bag for wet clothes, a change of clothes and money for gratuity for your tour guide. To ensure your safety and convenience, please do not bring any belongings on the raft that you are not willing to lose such as wedding rings, cameras and smart phones, and your keys and wallet.
