Hood River Library

Wednesdays and Thursdays 10:30-11 AM – Fun-filled half hour with stories, songs, games, and crafts. Geared toward children ages 3-6.

Fridays 5-5:30 PM – Bilingual story time

White Salmon has an awesome story teller too – Thursdays 9:45AM

Hood River Community Pool

Awesome little kiddy pool – perfect spot to get those little legs movin’ during the winter months!

Wilson Park is located in the heights area of town, nestled in a pleasant neighborhood offering swings, a jungle gym, and picnic tables.
Jackson Park is also located within a neighborhood and hosts “Families in the Park” and “Movies in the Park” during the summer season, offering music, bathrooms, picnic tables, and walking distance from the public pool.
Hood River Children’s Park is located just above downtown and is a wood park paradise. It also provides restrooms, open lawn area and a covered basketball court.
Hood River Waterfront Park – Located on the beautiful Hood River Waterfront, this park is sure to provide an afternoon of fun for the whole family. Complete with a rock climbing structure, play ground area, beach area, restrooms, and pavilions. The waterfront park also provides a walking path beside the water with benches and viewpoints along the way.
