Hood River Oregon Tourism Loves Reedsport Memorial Weekend Celebration

Come join the locals as they celebrate Memorial Day with a host of family-friendly activities, a parade and good food! The Reedsport Memorial Weekend Celebration, one of the most popular Hood River Oregon events, starts off with the popular parade on 101 Highway which ends in Hahn Park. From there, there is a Memorial Day Dinner to celebrate and honor veterans. The Memorial Day Weekend Celebration wraps up with live music. This celebration is free for all. Donations are accepted for those that are interested in contributing to the festivities.

6th Annual Art of Survival Century Bicycle Ride

Spend your Memorial Day weekend exploring Hood River and the surrounding region via bike at the 6th Annual Art of Survival Century Bicycle Ride. This yearly event is an excellent opportunity to get out and explore Hood River while learning more about the area via talks provided by local rangers and historians. You can choose from the Century (100 mile), Metric Century (62 mile), 45 mile, 20 mile mountain bike routes. There is also a 25 mile route that is family-friendly. All of the routes are on flat terrain making it easier to explore the area. What makes this event unique are the informative rest stops where information about the area from geology to local history is shared with the bikers. The Art of the Survival Century Bicycle Ride offers you the opportunity to enjoy nature, get some exercise and see and learn more about Hood River and the surrounding region.
