Wy’East Vineyards

A small, family-run boutique winery, Wy’East Vineyards strives to produce the most sustainable, high quality wines available in the Columbia River Gorge. Known for their Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay, Wy’East offers a small yet highly awarded selection of wines in the Hood River Valley off of Highway 35.

About Wy’East Vineyards

The Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay are the staple wines that everyone in the area knows Wy’East’s name for. Their Chardonnay, in particular, is extraordinary, delicately balanced between the buttery and oaky notes you might be familiar with in Chardonnay, landing somewhere on the fruity middle of the spectrum. We highly recommend it. While they’re known for these foundation wines, Wy’East grows several other varieties in their small vineyard. We think that the Zinfandel, Syrah, Rose, and Cabernet Sauvignon that Wy’East grows are all unique and equally worthy of a try. We also highly recommend the Reserve Pinot Noir, the Syrah, and the Pinot Grigio.

Whatever you choose to drink, the views of the countryside and Mount Hood at Wy’East will leave you feeling grateful and fulfilled. Visit their website if you want to take a look through the different reds, whites, and current releases. Wy’East is always looking for new ventures and new avenues of flavor, so you’ll want to try their newest release, whatever it may be at the time of your trip to Hood River.

Visiting Wy’East Vineyards

Located just 10 minutes South of Hood River along beautiful Highway 35, Wy’East Vineyards is the perfect afternoon stop on your way home from outdoor recreation in Mount Hood National Forest.

The tasting room at Wy’East is open daily during the summer and on weekends during the winter. On sunny days, we highly recommend sitting outside to drink your wine at Wy’East. On their large patio, guests at Wy’East can soak in the warm sunlight and the fertile countryside that helped grow the wines they enjoy.
