Every second Saturday of the month at WAAAM experience some old school rides, check out some cool planes arriving and departing from the Hood River airport strip. Every month there a different feature. May 9 is Military vehicles – super cool! And also a flag retirement ceremony. Free parking located just 3 miles from downtown Hood River at 1600 Air Museum Road. (You can’t miss it there is HUGE old Drive In Sign at the entrance.)  Events start at 10:00am and end at 2:00pm. Lunch is between 11:00am and 1:00pm.

What a better way to stock up on your Hood River Vacation Home fridge! Stop by the Hood River Farmers Market on your way into town Thursday afternoon before checking into your house. Open from May 7 to mid November every Thursday from 5-8PM. Located at the Hood River Middle School at 1602 May Street once school begins in September the market moves to Springhouse Cellar location. The market has over 20 vendors with fresh ingredients including meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, honey, jams and more! There is also kids activities,

The source in the Gorge for a wide selection of import and craft beers available for carry-out and/or consumption on premises (including an outdoor beer garden). We currently have over 170 beer labels, up to 6 rotating beers on tap, almost 50 wine labels, and some delicious snack/party type foods. Currently, our hours are noon – 9pm, 7 days a week.  We will usually stay open later if people are here hanging out, but just make sure you get here by 9 to guarantee we’re here.
